Fall In Love With The Autumn Collection

With cosy season well and truly here, why not fall in love with the Autumn collection from Gatcombe Candle Co. After a busy day, there is no better way to unwind, relax and give yourself some well deserved self care!

As with all of the Gatcombe collection, these are all hand poured using 100% soy wax. They look stunning in any home and smell out of this world. I’m pleased to say that some old favourites have returned, along with two stunning new additions, Frosted Pumpkin and Cosy Night In.

Toasted Apple: An excellent festive blend combining warmed spice and baked Apple, that’s good enough to eat!.

Spiced Orange: Sweet zesty Orange with warm and hearty notes of Cinnamon, Nutmeg and Clove. Woody and spicy with a hint of Vanilla.

Gingerbread: The aroma of warm buttery Gingerbread, rich with Nutmeg, Cinnamon and Brown Sugar. This scent will evoke childhood memories of Gingerbread men and Gingerbread houses.

Sweet Fig: A fruity and sweet scent with a floral undertone. Top notes Fig, Fig Leaf, Wild Berries. Middle notes Lily of the Valley, Violet Leaf, Rose. Base – Cedar, Amber, Sweet Musk.

Red Cedar & Musk: An exotic blend of Red Cedar, Massoia Bark, Amber and Musk. This fragrance has top notes of Lemon and Bergamot peel and enhanced with a blend of rich warm spices.

Frosted Pumpkin: This fragrance begins with fresh top notes of citrus Lemon, leading to creamy Pumpkin with hints of Nutmeg and Ginger; sitting on base notes of warm Maple sugar and a Vanilla frosting.

Cosy Night In: Let this inviting fragrance wrap around you like a cosy blanket. An opulent heady scent softened by the addition of warm sweet aromas and luxurious aromas of woods and golden amber facets. It’s full of charm & mystery for that cosy night in!

Oak Noir: An intense, complex and luxurious scent. This fragrance has top notes of Black Pepper, Lemon and Ginger, with base notes of Basil, Coriander and Oak Moss.

All of the above scents are available in 20cl Candles which have a burn time of approximately 30 hours and wax melts which contain six cubes of pure happiness. The whole pack will give approximately 70 hours burn time.

Did Someone Mention A Beautiful New Product?

Last month I visited the gorgeous new Gatcombe Candle HQ. If you’ve been following me for a while, you will know how much I love this beautiful collection. Nicola is based in Oswestry, Shropshire where she handcrafts the most stunning scented candles and wax melts using 100% Soy Wax.

As part of her gorgeous range, she also creates beautiful reed diffusers, which give long lasting fragrance for up to three months. I’m really excited to let you know that these are now available to purchase.

By delicately lifting the fragrance into the air, these are the perfect addition to any home. Scents available in the diffusers are; Amalfi Coast, Black Pomegranate, Cashmere & White Amber, Discovery, Fresh Linen and La Belle.

Whilst I was catching up with Nicola, I was lucky enough to have a little sneak preview of the Autumn/Winter scents that will be coming soon… They did not disappoint, they smell out of this world!

How To Glow Your Way Through Winter

Through the cold winter months, there is no better feeling than coming home, taking off my makeup, getting into my comfy clothes and lighting my favourite candle. I’ve always loved candles, but was often left disappointed when they didn’t burn evenly, only smelt when they weren’t lit or were left looking ugly as the black soot began to form around the top of the jar.

But as soon as I discovered the stunning range of Gatcombe Candle Co, I instantly fell in love! Nicky’s based in Shropshire and creates beautiful scented candles and wax melts which look stunning in any home.

Just like her candles, Nicky is so warm and inviting and handcrafts all of her candles and wax melts using 100% soy wax. I’ve finally discovered a candle that looks beautiful, smells out of this world and actually throws its scent as it burns.

If you’ve been following me for a while, you’ll know I never stock anything I don’t love so I’m delighted that I can now spread the candle and wax melt love, as I’ve officially become a stockist for the Gatcombe Candle Co.

For me, a beautiful smelling home, makes me feel calm and happy. It helps relax my mind after a busy day. It may sound strange, but I also really like what a candle represents… As children, we were taught to always make a wish before we blew them out on a birthday cake. We often light a candle to calm our minds or to have a little soak in the bath after a long day or to reflect on loved ones who are no longer with us.

The wax melts contain six cubes which you can expect to get approximately 70 hours from the pack. The candles are available in a large tins which have an approximate burn time of 30 hours and the small tin is approximately 20 hours.
