Through the cold winter months, there is no better feeling than coming home, taking off my makeup, getting into my comfy clothes and lighting my favourite candle. I’ve always loved candles, but was often left disappointed when they didn’t burn evenly, only smelt when they weren’t lit or were left looking ugly as the black soot began to form around the top of the jar.

But as soon as I discovered the stunning range of Gatcombe Candle Co, I instantly fell in love! Nicky’s based in Shropshire and creates beautiful scented candles and wax melts which look stunning in any home.

Just like her candles, Nicky is so warm and inviting and handcrafts all of her candles and wax melts using 100% soy wax. I’ve finally discovered a candle that looks beautiful, smells out of this world and actually throws its scent as it burns.

If you’ve been following me for a while, you’ll know I never stock anything I don’t love so I’m delighted that I can now spread the candle and wax melt love, as I’ve officially become a stockist for the Gatcombe Candle Co.

For me, a beautiful smelling home, makes me feel calm and happy. It helps relax my mind after a busy day. It may sound strange, but I also really like what a candle represents… As children, we were taught to always make a wish before we blew them out on a birthday cake. We often light a candle to calm our minds or to have a little soak in the bath after a long day or to reflect on loved ones who are no longer with us.

The wax melts contain six cubes which you can expect to get approximately 70 hours from the pack. The candles are available in a large tins which have an approximate burn time of 30 hours and the small tin is approximately 20 hours.
