5 Hair Products I Love… And Think You Will Too!

With so many hair products to choose from, how do you know where to start? If you are anything like me, you want it all! Care, shine, style and hold. So, If you are short of time and want products that do what they promise, here are my top 5 products that I love and use day in, day out…

To take care of your colour at home, I personally recommend Wella Brilliance Colour Shampoo. This definitely helps keep my colour brighter for longer and leaves my hair full of shine. It’s available for both Fine/Normal and Thick/Coarse Hair with conditioners to match.

I cannot recommend Moroccan Oil enough. It’s a clever little product and can be used as a conditioner, styling and finishing product all in one. Not only does it smell out of this world, it also detangles, speeds up drying time and boosts shine. You won’t regret purchasing this one!

To add some texture I really love Label M Texturising Volume Spray. It combines the benefits of a Dry Shampoo and Hairspray all in one. It’s great for both long and short hair and creates volume and texture just where you need it. You can even layer the product to create a bolder, stronger style and create a backcombed look with ease, perfect for day or evening!

This is brand new, Wella’s Mistify Me Hairspray. This fine mist dries in record time, has a fresh scent and won’t leave your hair feeling overloaded. This will give you a firm hold for up to 24 hours and at the end of the day, can be brushed out with ease.


For even more shine, try Wella’s Glam Mist. This is just purely for shine, so without any hold. Think of it as perfume for your hair too, because it smells absolutely AMAZING! The other thing I love about Glam Mist is it doesn’t make your hair look or feel greasy like some other shine sprays can.

How To Have Beautiful Hair This Summer

The Summer holidays are almost here; it’s a chance to escape for a while and enjoy some well deserved rest and relaxation. However, it’s important to remember the sun can be just as damaging to our hair as it can be to our skin. Therefore this month, I wanted to share some of my top tips for keeping your hair healthy and beautiful this Summer…

Before you go, I would recommend having a trim and a gloss applied. A gloss contains no colour pigment so is great for hi-lights as well as whole head colours. It’s packed full of the right ingredients to give your hair amazing shine and leave it feeling silky smooth.

To avoid burning your hair and scalp in the sun, ensure that you treat yourself to a gorgeous new hat. This will also help protect your eyelids where the skin in naturally thinner.

As many of us know it’s important to apply sunscreen at least 30 minutes before we go out in the sun, but many of us forget about our hair. Wella Sun Protection Spray effectively helps to protect the hair against UV rays during sun exposure.

I wouldn’t leave home without Wella Sun Hair & Body Shampoo. This gently removes impurities from sunscreen, salt, and chlorinated water while actively restoring moisture. It will leave your hair and skin feeling invigorated.  It’s a great space saver too, as there is no need to take a separate shower gel.

After a day at the beach, shampoo your hair and apply Wella Sun Express Conditioner to towel dried hair. By applying a small amount to the mid lengths and ends, this will help to replenish any lost moisture. For a more intensive treatment, leave on for 10-15 minutes.

Styling our hair can be tricky whilst on holiday and depending on location the air can often be damp and humid. How To Glow With Confidence On Your Wedding Day

Bridal Tanning Tips

I think every Bride deserves to look and feel beautiful on one of the most special days of her life and I genuinely believe that a subtle glow really does complete a bridal look.

For me, the ultimate bridal tan should be flawless, timeless and beautifully enhance their natural skin tone. It’s such a privilege to create a tan like this and whenever I meet a bride I like to gain as much information as possible, in order for me to create the perfect tan for them. With that in mind, here are my top bridal tanning tips for all of you beautiful Brides-to-be…

Your First Tanning Appointment…

On your first tanning appointment, it’s all about the consultation. I love to hear all about your dress, how much of your skin will be on show and your colour scheme. My most popular tan for brides is the Sienna X 6% Touché De Soleil. It gives a gorgeous light, natural glow and works beautifully on pale skin tones.

I do sometimes opt for a slightly darker shade, but this is only usually if the natural skin tone is darker or I’m choosing to accentuate certain areas such as cheekbones or the décolletage.

After this initial appointment, I advise my brides to take a daily selfie in natural daylight to see which day they prefer the colour on. Most of my brides often prefer day two, this then ensures that when it comes to tanning them for the actual wedding day, they feel at their best… Confidence is key.

Your Second Tanning Appointment…

This is where I focus more on the feedback from your initial tanning appointment . Many brides often like to book their Make-Up trials for after this date, this then gives them a really clear idea of how they will look on their big day. A spray tan is the perfect primer for your Make-up to be applied to, and works particularly well for brides who wear minimal make up day-to-day.

Your Final Tanning Appointment…

Your final appointment will take place a day or two before your wedding day. At this point, all of your arrangements will be done, allowing you to enjoy your treatment with a glass of Prosecco.

We will also discuss your honeymoon plans, Brides who are going away straight after their wedding often like to take a Gradual Self Tan to prolong the life of their tan, others who are going away at a later date like to use Radiance Body Balm in order to keep their skin nourished and get the most from their colour.
