How To Boost Your Mood This Winter

Untitled design-3

We all know that 2020 hasn’t gone to plan and with Winter now upon us, a spray tan may not be the first thing on your mind. I mean spray tans are for Summer right? Well actually no, there are so many more benefits to a Winter glow than you might think. Therefore, this month I wanted to share with you exactly why a spray tan is perfect for Winter…

  • Feel Happier…

The winter months can be cold, dark and a bit depressing to say the least. But did you know that by having a tan, it can actually help boost your mood? Its a pretty common fact that we all feel better with a tan so why make winter months duller than they need to be?

  • Feel Healthier…

We can all feel that we over indulge a little at this time of year. But did you know that a spray tan can enhance the appearance of your skin? It also allows you to feel slimmer, healthier and more toned. Tanning isn’t just a solution applied to your skin, it’s a mindset game changer!

  • Feel Confident…

With the likelihood that many Christmas parties and other events will be cancelled this year, you can still boost your confidence and feel beautiful. A light, natural glow has the power to make you feel the most beautiful version of yourself.

With shorter days and longer nights, the feeling of wanting to hibernate (especially when the alarm goes off on those cold, drizzly mornings) can leave us feeling like Summer is so far away. So why not create your own sunshine? I tan all year round because it makes me feel all of the above and more… and I think we all deserve to feel this way!

If you would like more information about how we can create the perfect Winter glow for you, then feel free to leave me a comment below or pop over to my Facebook page.

Until next time, glow and be you!

Have You Heard About The New Collection?

Untitled design-4

The stunning Gatcombe Candle Co. range just keeps getting better and this month, I thought I’d share with you the amazing new collection all ready for Autumn/Winter…

Oak Noir

A firm favourite of mine combining an intense and luxurious scent. This fragrance has top notes of Black Pepper, Lemon and Ginger, with base notes of Basil, Coriander and Oak moss.

Clove & Cedar Leaf

I love the freshness of this one. Spicy and fresh with Cinnamon, Clove lifted with fir needle, Orange peel, Peach & Strawberry, with hints of Patchouli and Hyacinth.

Toasted Apple

Good enough to eat and smells just like a freshly baked Apple pie straight from the oven. An excellent festive blend combining warmed spice and baked Apple.

Spiced Orange

This one has all the Autumn vibes. Sweet zesty Orange with warm and hearty notes of Cinnamon, Nutmeg and Clove. Woody and spicy with a hint of Vanilla.

Gingerbread

This scent will bring back all of those childhood memories making Gingerbread Men and Gingerbread Houses. The aroma of warm buttery Gingerbread, rich with Nutmeg, Cinnamon and Brown Sugar.

Warm Maple

This is one of my absolute favourites! In fact, if I could eat it, I would, it smells soo good! Revealing top notes with Orange and Peach with a spicy centre of Cinnamon & Cloves. With an unexpected ending of Maple syrup, Caramel and Vanilla. (Warm Maple is available in a wax melt only)

Wild Winter Berries

This one will give you all the Winter vibes, bursting with aromas of warm wine and sweet berries. This fragrance creates a warm ambient aroma, perfect on those cold winter evenings.

Winter Honeysuckle

One of my many favourites from this collection. Reminds me of cold, frosty Winter mornings but will leave warmth in your heart. The fragrance comes into full bloom through floral notes of frosted Honeysuckle, along with Sandalwood, Amber and Musk to complete the fragrance.

If you would like any additional information, fancy treating yourself or would like to give the most beautiful gifts this Christmas, feel free to send me a message via my contact page.

How To Detox Your Skin This January

BBHB

Happy New Year! If you are anything like me and maybe indulged over Christmas in a little too much Prosecco, then this month’s blog is for you. With Christmas and New Year celebrations, food and drink can all take its toll on our skin. Therefore this month, I wanted to share some top tips for detoxing your skin this January.

Cleanse, Tone & Moisturise…

Our skin is the largest organ we have and by having a healthy skincare regime, you are doing all you can to help take care of it. I love using the Sienna X Skincare Collection and by using these high quality, natural products twice a day is the first step to achieving this.

Shine Bright…

Exfoliate with The Facial Polish at least once a week to remove dead skin cells. This not only helps to remove excess oil and build up of dirt, which helps to fight against breakouts. It also reveals brighter, healthier skin too!

Mask it…

Using The Miracle Mask as part of your skincare regime will work wonders, especially in the winter months. This helps to replace lost moisture and helps to prevent skin from drying out that is often caused by the colder temperatures and central heating. Whether you need a quick fix of it working it’s magic for 10 minutes or you to choose to leave it overnight to achieve deeper nourishment, this one is a winter wonder!

Hydrate Your Body…

Christmas often leads to us drinking more alcohol, which in turn not only dehydrates our bodies, but our skin too. As much as a warm cuppa is more appealing, it’s still really important to drink lots of water. The recommended intake per day for men is 3.7 litres and for women 2.7 litres.

Beauty Sleep…

Sleep plays a huge part in not only allowing our minds to rest, but also our skin too! While we sleep, skin produces collagen which helps to plump it up, leading to fewer wrinkles. Blood flow to the face is also increased as we snooze, which helps to give our complexion a healthier appearance.

If you would like any additional information on any of the products I’ve mentioned this month, feel free to pop a question or comment below.
