Happy New Year! If you are anything like me and maybe indulged over Christmas in a little too much Prosecco, then this month’s blog is for you. With Christmas and New Year celebrations, food and drink can all take its toll on our skin. Therefore this month, I wanted to share some top tips for detoxing your skin this January.
Cleanse, Tone & Moisturise…
Our skin is the largest organ we have and by having a healthy skincare regime, you are doing all you can to help take care of it. I love using the Sienna X Skincare Collection and by using these high quality, natural products twice a day is the first step to achieving this.
Shine Bright…
Exfoliate with The Facial Polish at least once a week to remove dead skin cells. This not only helps to remove excess oil and build up of dirt, which helps to fight against breakouts. It also reveals brighter, healthier skin too!
Mask it…
Using The Miracle Mask as part of your skincare regime will work wonders, especially in the winter months. This helps to replace lost moisture and helps to prevent skin from drying out that is often caused by the colder temperatures and central heating. Whether you need a quick fix of it working it’s magic for 10 minutes or you to choose to leave it overnight to achieve deeper nourishment, this one is a winter wonder!
Hydrate Your Body…
Christmas often leads to us drinking more alcohol, which in turn not only dehydrates our bodies, but our skin too. As much as a warm cuppa is more appealing, it’s still really important to drink lots of water. The recommended intake per day for men is 3.7 litres and for women 2.7 litres.
Beauty Sleep…
Sleep plays a huge part in not only allowing our minds to rest, but also our skin too! While we sleep, skin produces collagen which helps to plump it up, leading to fewer wrinkles. Blood flow to the face is also increased as we snooze, which helps to give our complexion a healthier appearance.
If you would like any additional information on any of the products I’ve mentioned this month, feel free to pop a question or comment below.
